At Function Growth, Christina will assume responsibility for the growth accelerator’s Wellow compression sock business. “Christina brings a unique blend of strategic acumen and interpersonal skills that drive success in the fast-paced world of account leadership. Her track record in growing brands ensures that Wellow will continue its stellar growth trajectory through 2024 and beyond, and will be invaluable to the founder-led brands Function Growth partners with.” Wellow was launched by XenoPsi Ventures in 2021 and revolutionised the compression sock category. At the end of 2021, Wellow launched a “wide calf” line for those who had wider calves, such as pregnant women, diabetics and people suffering from obesity, bringing the benefits compression to an underserved market and expanding the category. Wellow sales through last year exceeded $20 million. In addition to overseeing Wellow, Christina will work closely with Function Growth’s director of growth strategy Kyle Hoffman on two product launches planned by XenoPsi Ventures in 2024. She will also be active on the brands of the other entrepreneurs that Function Growth provides C-suite consulting. “The entrepreneurial nature of this opportunity is perfect for me at this stage of my career,” said Christina. “Wellow is a terrific company and I look forward to sustaining its success and look forward to partnering with Kyle and the team on XPV’s upcoming launches. I believe my experience to date will bring wisdom to those sibling brands and all the founder-led startups that partner with Function Growth as they embark on their path to profitability.” Prior to Dentsu, Christina worked at Omnicom Group’s Zimmerman Advertising as an account director on that agency’s LL Flooring, Planet Fitness, Edward Jones, Cordell & Cordell, and Medify Air accounts. Before that, she worked at Hearst Corporation-owned iCrossing, Deutsch, Team One, and Arnold Worldwide, handling retail accounts such as Volkswagen, Lexus Dealer Association, SiriusXM, and Pearl Vision. Wellow was launched by XenoPsi Ventures in 2021. Sales through 2023 exceeded $20 million.
